lines at the grocery stores
i was standing in line so patiently at the grocery store on Sunday and it took forever. I couldn't believe the cashier was carrying on a conversation with a lady she new for probably about seven minutes. I happen to be next in line but she acted like I was invincible. So finally it was my turn and I just bit my tongue and went on about my business. How crazy is that?

Usually if im at the store and the cashier is going on having a conversation piece w/ a customer, is usually when im running late!! Or there will be like 5 people in front of me and no more cashiers!! I hate that.
i am one to bite my tongue, too! even though i am fuming inside, i can never bring myself to say anything. My fiance on the other hand would be quick to tell the cashier to get the ladies number and call her after work bc now is not the time for that BS HAHAHAAHA
I usually don't get that bothered in the grocery stores as much as I hate shopping I'm usually ok. What I can't stand is Why don't people let you know that they have a ton of coupons just in case you don't fill like standing in line waiting for the cashier to scan them all in. It takes long enough for the groceries and for you to sign a check you mean know I have to wait for the Coupons too. Well there goes the next 45 mins you didn't check to see if they were out dated before you came Shopping. After so long if the cashier is still talking I would probably end up saying something.
I have been there also. I am also one of those person who will bite their tongue. By the time it is my turn I will be so nice to the cashier. I try to be nice, but when you are in hurry.
